PETA boycott-PETA is calling for the boycott of Mars Inc., the people who have brought us M&Ms, Twix, and milky ways, claiming the company funds experiments that kill mice, rats, guinea pigs and rabbits. Allegedly they’re funding a study that uses rats at the University of California in San Francisco which is a violation of their own written policy. Apparently the rats are force fed by having plastic tubes shoved down their throats, and they are then cut open and killed. Because of this PETA is filing a complaint with the FTC. Dec 7

"We're all frustrated." So are those who complain of the noise, traffic and parking problems that occur in their otherwise quiet, upscale neighborhood every Friday and Saturday, when Trulock's home is transformed into "The Cherry Pit." They demand investigations into the CIA's destruction of videotapes showing terrorism suspects being subjected to severe interrogation techniques.
