Kind of like Omega's but not :)

I was on myspace (of course) and guess who decided to write a book? Brain “Head” Welch, ex lead guitarist of Korn. For those of you who don’t know Welch quit the band because of “religious differences”. Welch had found a new life and love and Christianity and Korn just didn’t fit that anymore. Welch has quit drinking and drugs and blah, blah, blah. Basically the book with the longwinded title “Save Me From Myself: How I Found God, Quit Korn, Kicked Drugs and Lived to Tell my Story" is about him getting saved.

Personally I think the book is a waste of time and for media attention, but that is only part of why I’m a little fumed over it. Just go along and read some of the comments (I left two so far) and see how others are trying to force their belief (or non belief) of God on each other. Non Believers let’s face it: Christianity is here to stay. It’s not going to go away no matter what is said. And Christians: Aren’t you tired of trying to force people to believe in what you do? You don’t like people trying to force you to believe something why do the same to others? Can’t we all just religiously tolerate each other?

I give Welch a slap in the head for selling out (as if he couldn’t have lived clean and sober with Korn) and for all you losers trying to force your religion (or lack of it) onto others. 7/5

A boy dumps a girl. The girl is upset so tells the boy to do everyone a favor and go slit his wrists. A girl sits quietly in class, contemplating the drama going down in her life when a “friend” tells she’s so emo and needs to go cut herself. A group of boys are sitting in class. One receives a test with a B and jokingly says he’s going to cut himself. Two girls get into a verbal fight. One of the girls boyfriend’s tells the other girl to go slit her wrists.

These are all true stories. A testimony to how cruel teenagers are becoming in our society. How “cutting” is now considered something laughable that only the Goth and Emo kids do. Something potentially deadly and dangerous is a now a cruel joke. It shouldn’t be that way. Because it isn’t funny and it isn’t something that only the Goth and emo kids do. Anyone under the sun can cut themselves. And because of that, people shouldn’t be going around and telling people to indulge in that behavior or make jokes. You truly don’t know who cuts and who does not.

So let’s cut the crap. There are many out there who are so numb emotionally the only way they can feel something is to put a razor to their skin. There are people out there who want to control their own pain so they cut. As Disturbed said DON’T JUDGE WHAT YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND. Cutting is not a joke. So let’s not treat it like one. It’s sick and it’s cruel so it needs to stop. 7.18

Today I heard some very racists comments and it took everything in me not to scream and shout to the top of my lungs. I will not say the gender or name of the person but I will say this person was Causasian and the person they were talking to was Hispanic. The person in question stated themselves as a racist. They also said that people of different races didn't belong in America. They were all brought over in boats. When the Hispanic person said they were born here the person in question stated coldly "well how else did you get here?? You swam over."

At this point I became extremely angry. The person in question has no right to say such things because their ancestors were too brought here on a boat. So if anyone has a right to say anyone shouldn't be here it's the Native Americans because they were here first.

But my main question is why?? Why is there such hate in the world? Why must we see each other as black, white, spanish, indian, asian. Why can't we just see past the skin color down to the soul? 12.6.07
